Confirmed: Jimmy Olsen Is Now Jenny Olsen
In some new promotional materials for Wal-Mart’s early screening of ‘Man of Steel’ campaign, a new still has confirmed the earlier rumored gender-swapping of Jimmy Olsen for Jenny Olsen.
I don’t have a problem with the gender swapping of Jimmy Olsen for Jenny Olsen (Rebecca Buller). If anything it does make it a little bit more complicated for Lois if Clark Kent’s best pal at the Daily Planet is a very cute photographer.
I would bet it’s a licensing or Rights problem (much like the rumored major change to Superman’s origin that might appear in ‘Man of Steel). I do wonder what other changes or updates DC has done to the classic Superman mythos in ‘Man of Steel’?
